The first seeds of our locality were planted in 1991 with only 10 members, our first apostolate was initiated in the late 1990’s and apostolates have continued to grow since then. 

Although we are called ‘Ontario’ our locality’s geographic territory spans over all Eastern Canada; the members in our diaspora include Cornwall, Quebec, and the Maritimes.  

The Legionaries of Christ Community was formed in Oakville, Ontario in 2009. 

Our locality has experienced renewed and steady growth, with teams of perseverance forming with members from Toronto, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Newmarket, Peel and Halton area.
