Women of the Bible I: Discover the women of the Old Testament whose lives were transformed by God

Women of the Bible is a two part series which begins with the study of 8 prominent women of the Old Testament whose lives were transformed by God. During each session we will delve into Old Testament scripture to get to know the women and their stories as seen through the lens of the ‘Feminine Genius’. This term, coined by St. Pope John Paul II highlights the feminine gifts of receptivity, generosity, sensitivity and motherhood, all of which become the framework from which the Bible study unfolds as we meet and get better acquainted with each of our 8 women. As we get to know the women’s stories, we will discover the feminine genius present in them through their greatness, imperfections, love for God and others. This course was prayerfully written to help participants connect more fully to their own feminine genius by relating to women of the past who embraced their faith and love of God. May you find courage, wisdom and passion to learn from these women and fully embrace the mission which God has in store for your life as His beloved, daughter.
