This past Sunday, during his Sunday Angelus at Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV gave a shout-out to the young adults participating in Catholic Worldview Fellowship and Regnum Christi International Formators’ Course. These two summer apostolates in Rome immerse young adults in a formative experience that unites intellectual formation with fellowship and discipleship, helping participants see their vocation, the Church, and society with renewed clarity and zeal for their own evangelizing mission in the world.
“His love is always ready to help us”

During July, Pope Leo XIV has spent time at Castel Gandolfo, the traditional papal summer residence just outside of Rome, where he recently led the Sunday Angelus.
In his introduction, Pope Leo XIV warned the faithful against thinking of God as a powerful figure who imposes himself by force or domination.
“God favours smallness, a sign of discreet love, by which he leaves us free to accept or reject him.”
“the little things of daily life and in the simplicity of ordinary existence.”
“He is always with us, and his love is always ready to help us.”
Pope Leo then greeted all pilgrims present, including the group from the Catholic Worldview Fellowship, and the young adult Regnum Christi members participating in the International Formators Course this summer.

Catholic Worldview Fellowship
Catholic Worldview Fellowship is a month-long summer fellowship program in Germany and Italy designed to form, connect, and empower Catholic college students who want to evangelize culture and seek to contribute to the Church’s effort to spread the Gospel to all corners of society. With its unique and authentically Catholic approach to history, philosophy, leadership, and theology, the program aims to form students to contemplate culture, the world, and reality from the standpoint of faith and in light of the Catholic worldview.
The program revolves around four pillars: academic excellence, leadership, cultural outings, and spiritual foundation.
- Lectures given by experts in the fields of history, religion, philosophy, and ethics shed light on the role of Catholic leadership in today’s constantly evolving culture.
- Through seminars, workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions, students will identify their talents more clearly and learn how to unleash their leadership potential.
- Fellows explore the roots of Western culture through fieldwork and organized outings to historical sites (Aachen, Cologne, Trier, Xanten in Germany, as well as the major landmarks and basilicas in Rome).
- Through daily prayer, Mass, spiritual formation, and personal dialogue provided by Legionary priests and Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi, students form lasting spiritual habits.
By forming, networking and empowering talented students who want to evangelize culture, Catholic Worldview Fellowship seeks to contribute to the Church’s effort to evangelize and spread the Gospel in society.

International Formators’ Course by Regnum Christi
The International Formators’ Course by Regnum Christi (IFC) is a unique experience of the Regnum Christi charism for formators ages 18–26, allowing them to grow in their love for Christ and discover more clearly what their mission is in Regnum Christi. Held in Rome during July, this course offers formation in four areas: human, spiritual, intellectual, and apostolic life, enabling the participants to fulfill their specific mission in Regnum Christi at the service of the Church.
The IFC program is developed around four formation objectives:
- Create opportunities for a real, personal, and transforming encounter with Christ, in which the formators discover their vocation to be a beloved child of the Father, in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit.
- Facilitate in the young people greater self-knowledge, together with the awareness of their vocation and mission within Regnum Christi and the Church.
- Offer a solid intellectual formation which helps them to read the world, history, and the signs of the times in light of the Gospel.
- Facilitate for the formators an experience of the joy of living the faith in a community of apostles, aware that they are part of a spiritual family in the Church.
IFC aims to be a unique and transforming experience of the charism, a decisive moment in the formators’ lives that will lead them to renew their yes to their vocation as apostles of the Kingdom in Regnum Christi for the Church.
