New Online Course: Become a Beacon of Hope & Find Meaning in Every Day Life

We are all looking for happiness. We were created for happiness. In a certain sense, all that we do is in function of our happiness and well being. But in the end, what is “happiness”? Can we pursue directly or is it the result of something else?

As followers of Jesus Christ, we know He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He Himself is our pathway to the fulness of happiness. There is no other way.

Our modern worlds prides itself on its vast development in many arenas of human endeavor, from sciences and technology to the arts and humanities. Yet, even with such vast development, we continue to wrestle with some of the very same questions of past generations.

This online course offered by the Our Lady of Bethesda Retreat Center seeks to approach the theme of “happiness” and “meaning in life” from within the framework of helpful insights of the human sciences in recent years. Honest searchers will find within these insights, reflections of what we believe will ultimate lead us to faith in and love for Jesus Christ.

We will approach the theme of happiness from the aspect of the human sciences within a larger Catholic Christian framework. The five session will be offered live via Zoom. Those unable to attend a particular session will have access to the session recordings. With each session, participants will receive support material, practical exercises, and background resources.
